Mr. Wroblewski and Mr. Vignarajah both taught math at Frederick Douglass High School in the 1980s. They both had a passion for teaching that continues to this day. They both had sons the same age. Mr. Wroblewski's son, Alex Wroblewski, was killed in cold blood during a robbery at a Royal Farms. Enough is enough. It is time to end the bloodshed. Thiru Vignarajah is running for mayor to bring an end to the violence that plagues Baltimore City.

Thiru Vignarajah was Chief of the Major Investigations Unit and personally prosecuted the two members of the Black Guerilla Family (BGF) who were convicted of killing Sean in a senseless act of violence where they fired indiscriminately to "send a message" to their rival gang. Enough is enough. It is time to end the bloodshed. Thiru Vignarajah is running for mayor to bring an end to the violence that plagues Baltimore City.

Violent crime is the dominant, defining challenge facing Baltimore City. It ravages neighborhoods, drives families out of the city, deters business investment, and destroys the lives of too many of Baltimore’s sons and daughters. The next Mayor’s top focus must be to end the bloodshed.
